The Women’s Center is designed to offer comprehensive services for women of all ages. We’re proud to offer the women of our area more healthcare choices and more control of their individual health.

Last year, PRMC helped numerous families bring their babies into this world, safe and sound, in one of our five new family oriented labor and delivery suites. With more than 60% of our patients considered to have ‘high-risk’ pregnancies, we’re proud that they chose PRMC to provide their pre- and post-natal care.

The safety of our newborns is a prime concern at PRMC. To ensure the security of each of our patients, we have installed an electronic security system, which offers the most recent advances in hospital security technology.

At PRMC Women’s Center, we are committed to treating the whole person - the body, the mind, and the spirit. Lamaze classes are available. Our new Outpatient Center is a place where women of all ages can receive mammograms and other Radiology specialty testing and screening services. The Rehab Center, under the direction of a Physical Therapist, a Occupational Therapist, and a Speech Therapist, offers many services including innovative incontinence and osteoporosis programs.

Pampa Regional Medical Center is dedicated to providing the women of our community with the services they need to stay healthy, active and productive.

EMERGENCY CENTER

The first hour following an accident or injury is called the Golden Hour because that’s when life-saving techniques are the most effective. With PRMC’s easily accessible Emergency Center, open 24-hours, seven-days-a-week, area residents have the assurance that emergency care can be given during the Golden Hour.

Pampa Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Center specializes in trauma care designed to stabilize patients for further treatment or transfer to a larger facility. With a highly trained staff of nurses and physicians, the ER is your first stop for emergency care in Gray County.

Last year, PRMC cared for over 8,000 ER patients. The ER has eight treatment rooms, well equipped to handle Critical Care, Orthopaedic, Urology, Pediatric, Obstetrical, Gynecological, and Ear, Nose & Throat emergencies. In the time of an emergency, a trip to the PRMC Emergency Center can save your life, or the life of a loved one.

MRI

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) was added to the arsenal of medical equipment at PRMC in 2001. With this full-time, fully integrated unit on-site, doctor’s now have local access to the highest level of detailed body imaging needed to make a diagnosis and create a treatment plan. This is great news for the residents of Pampa and the surrounding areas, who no longer have to drive over an hour to obtain access to this critical diagnostic tool.

GOLDEN PHOENIX

This inpatient facility, beautifully decorated and designed to make our patients feel safe and comfortable, provides short-term psychiatric care for patients 50 and older. Our medical and mental health professionals are highly trained and skilled at bringing patients back to a level where they can return to the comfort of their own homes.
