Dietary

Full-Time
Prepares and bakes items in quantities according to menu and number of people to be served. Assists in cafeteria line duties.

Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse . Responsible for those tasks that are relevant to the direct and indirect delivery of care to the patients as it is assigned.

Golden Phoenix & Social Services

Full-Time
Responsible for facilitating program functions with other disciplines at PRMC. Marketing the service to physicians and health care entities in the service region. Participates in the development and implementation of a quality treatment program consistent with state, federal and recognized, evidence-based quality guidelines (ex: JCAHO). Participates in an active community relations program by representing PRMC and the geropsychiatric service to various organizations and the legal community. Functions collaboratively with the medical director, nursing coordinator, referring physicians, administration, all other departments/staff members at PRMC, and the legal community. Supervises the Social Services Department as Social Services Director.

Laboratory

Full-Time
The individual is expected to be flexible in working Saturdays, holidays, and vacation coverage when necessary. Overtime sometimes is necessary during peak periods. Must have the ability to work and move rapidly to accommodate the workload during periods of high volume. Must be able to read and write and to verbally communicate with the public, patients, and other hospital personnel. Must be able hear phone, timing clocks, and intercom above machine noise. Must have CPR. Hospital experience preferred.The Medical Technologist maintains a working knowledge of all instruments in the lab. This position is responsible for obtaining adequate specimens for the analysis required, performing the specified tests, and communicating results in the correct manner. The Medical Technologist must recognize critical and/or life threatening results and notifies the supervisor and clinicians. The Medical Technologist must also see that all quality control results are within the specified standard deviation to verify that all machinery is in working order. Assists in training new employees. The Medical Technologist also assists in the calibration checks, quality control, and linearity studies performed on all machinery. Must be able to oversee MLT's.
PT/PTA
Physical Therapy

Full-Time
Provide assistance in patient care based upon a physical therapist's order after a total assessment and written evaluation is completed that is appropriate for the patient's need and medical condition. Provide such treatment in compliance with the Hospital and Physical Therapy Department Policies and Procedures. Support the Hospital's commitment to Performance Improvement. Administer care appropriate to the age of the patients whose relatively significant population includes adolescents to geriatrics.

To accept the responsibility to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the assigned unit in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care; to ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care maintaining compliance with JCAHO standards, psychosocial assessments and case management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling and staffing for the unit, performing group sessions, documenting findings, assist on the unit when needed, organizing education opportunities and training sessions for the unit, coordinating therapy services, contact person for physicians/nursing staff/referral sources from the community.

OB/L&D/Nursery

Full-Time
Has knowledge and skills required to provide nursing care for obstetric, GYN, and laboring patients, and for newborns. Possesses leadership skills to promote teamwork in provision of nursing care and in daily functions of the department and the facility. Helps in maintaining departmental compliance with regulatory standards. Responsible for the provision and documentation of professional nursing services to assigned patients in accordance with acceptable standards for nursing care. Maintains current licensure and certifications required for position. Uses hospital policies and procedures as guidelines in decision-making.

Surgical Unit

Full-Time
Prefer 2-3 years hospital experience caring for multi age census populations including pediatrics, orthopedic, general surgery and medical patients. Post-op care and experience preferred. Ability to prioritize nursing tasks utilizing critical thinking process in a timely manner. Directs, guides, and teaches other licensed professional staff. Accepts responsibility and accountability of professional care to patients. Obtain ACLS/ PALS within 1 year of employment.

ICU

Full-Time
The Intensive Care RN works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality patient care to the following age groups: adult and geriatric. Provides knowledge and skills needed to provide care to the ICU/CCU patients. Leadership to promote team and primary care nursing in the daily functions of the facility. Assists in maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies within the unit and facility.

Full-Time
This position is responsible for assisting RCP in treating patients. The RT Tech will provide quality treatment modalities as directed by the RCP and will correctly document results in the medical record.
Tech (3)
Environmental Services

Full-Time
Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Maintains tile floors (hard surfaces) as well as carpeted areas in the hospital and/or buildings maintained by our facility.
